The unique genius of Aoteroa's applied artists, glassmakers, weavers, jewelers and ceramicists forms the object axis of the A+O philosophy. We are proud of the growth of the genres that are featured in our object catalogues. On our formation New Zealand's pre-eminent ceramicist Len Castle (1924-2011) visited us and consigned a unique collaborative work he had created in conjunction with Theo Schoon. It was his way of supporting us and sending us on our way. We were honoured by Len's generosity and pleased to say we were able to deliver him an excellent price in our very first object catalogue.

A+O's Object catalogues are crafted to present interesting connections between generations of practitioners and styles. Our gallery affords us the ability to present superb exhibitions which are greatly enjoyed by both some of the most dedicated collectors we know and the many practitioners who visit A+O viewings.
