Almost exactly one year on from the sale of the David and Angela Wright Collection, A+O are delighted to announce another major art auction event in the form of a significant and far-reaching private collection of Contemporary Australasian art. The collection of Auckland-based collectors Russell and Shirley Hodgson represents a vital snapshot of contemporary art produced and shown in this country over the past ten years. Included in the collection are around 100 lots of sculpture, paintings and photographs by Francis Upritchard, Peter Robinson, Sara Hughes, Michael Parekowhai, Yvonne Todd, Liz Maw, Peter Stichbury, Jae Hoon Lee, Dale Frank, Seraphine Pick, Andrew McLeod and many, many more.
